250 g flour
2 tbsp oil
100 tbsp unfiltered Apple Cider Vinoceti Vinegar
2 tbsp raisins
100 ml rum
500 g apples
1 tsp cinnamon
50 g brown sugar
100 g sour cream
preparation: 15 min.
cooking: 40 min.
In a large bowl, mix together with a mixer flour, oil, salt, water and add the unfiltered Apple Cider Vinoceti Vinegar until a dough is formed.
Coat it with a little oil, cover with foil, then set aside for a while to rise.
Soak the raisins in rum and let them absorb the flavour for at least 15 minutes.
Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices, then sprinkle with lemon juice. Add the rum-soaked raisins, cinnamon and brown sugar, mix well.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and divide it into two halves. Spread each with sour cream and add the apple mixture, then make a roll. Grease with butter and bake in a preheated oven.
“This is the classical strudel recipe of my childhood and I simply adore it. Extremely easy to prepare, it enchants with its apple freshness, thanks to the fresh fruit and unfiltered Apple Cider Vinoceti Vinegar. The mysterious rum flavour of the raisins makes it a memorable dessert.”
